The States’ initiative was launched in 2020 and utilises public and private sector funding to support the third sector.
It was launched in 2021 and has since give nearly half-a-million pounds to 40 different organisations. If a charity is eligible it can apply for a grant of up to £25,000.
“We know that some charities are struggling with fundraising, partly due to Covid and also due to the rising cost of living,” said the Lead Officer of SIF, Sadie Siviter de Paucar.
“We encourage those charities to come forward and apply.”
