The fish and chip shop had only reopened three days before that after being closed for a few months while the new owners bought the business.
The new owners woke up on Sunday to find the windows all broken, pledging “nothing is going to keep us down”.
Guernsey Police believe the windows were smashed at around ten past midnight, Sunday morning.
They’ve said there was “significant damage” caused to the windows along the front of the chippy, which is at Bridge End House, North Side, Vale.
