The Senior Lottery Officer in Guernsey, Jon Taylor, said the draw still remains popular, despite a drop in sales of 6% between 2021 and 2022.
“The proceeds from all scratchcard sales throughout the year are distributed to good causes and the lottery has raised millions over the last few years,” he said.
The survey includes several proposed changes, including only providing one draw number per ticket, instead of two.
Additionally, there’s a suggestion that the scratch card element of the tickets be dropped.

People who complete the survey are also asked if they think there should be two tickets, one for £1 that only provides a lottery number, and a second ticket for £5 that provides a lottery number and a scratch card.
“The Christmas game is an important part of this and we want to ensure it remains so for years to come, so keeping it relevant and attractive to islanders is paramount,” said Mr Taylor.
The survey is one part of a larger review into the Lottery that includes charity sector feedback and discussions with resellers.
