Jack McGahy and Dan Noyon combine to make ‘Bandwagon’, a musical comedy group bringing their own specific brand of humour to the library for their first ‘laughs at the library’ event.
Mr McGahy said it’ll be an opportunity for other comedians to hone their craft.
“We’re trying to get a load of comedians together, so we can give them a platform. There’s plenty of opportunity to go see bands and play at gigs, we want to develop more of a comedy scene,” he said.
They’ll be joined on 14 August by Sophie Duncan and Andrew Perkins.

Mr McGahy continued: “People don’t have the confidence to do it yet because it’s not a normal thing to do here.”
“People are worried about embarrassing themselves, it’s a very personal and open thing. But it’s really interesting!”
Bandwagon are opening for British comedian Ed Byrne this week, who’s performing in the Duke of Richmond hotel tonight and tomorrow. Tickets are available ONLINE.
