Credit Suisse chose Friends of Frossard Children’s Ward as its charity of the year for 2017. In total, the company has raised over £25,000 for the charity’s new play area, following a series of fund-raising events including a triathlon challenge. The play area will transform the neglected garden into a usable outdoor space for patients and their families.
“It’s been great to support such an important charity who provide incredible care to our young islanders throughout the year. I am extremely proud of every single person who as contributed to our fundraising efforts,” said Paul Annegarn, Credit Suisse CEO and Guernsey Branch Manager.
Credit Suisse’s annual Christmas tree lights switch-on took place on Thursday 7 December, which also raised funds for the charity’s play area.
“It was a fantastic evening, we can’t thank the team at Credit Suisse enough for everything they have done in organising this and the other events over the year, we and everyone on the ward are extremely grateful for the money raised,” said Cathy Gallienne, co-founder of Friends of Frossard Children’s Ward.
