The Civil Contingencies Authority will hold a press conference today, which the States of Guernsey has texted islanders about this morning. On Friday, the CCA said there was due to be an announcement about schools today.

Any return to educational sites is expected to be under strict conditions, to ensure the ongoing health and safety of school staff and pupils.
Pupils have been home-schooled under the second lockdown, meaning teachers have been delivering the lessons remotely, with subject information delivered electronically and parents assisting with their children’s learning.
A few hundred children of essential workers returned to school sites during the February half term.
