A front door was reportedly kicked and damaged during an incident in St Peter Port yesterday evening, prompting an appeal for witnesses from Guernsey Police.
Officers said the damage was caused to the front door of a house in Mount Durand at around 7.30pm on Sunday 28 December.
It is believed that individuals passing through the area kicked the door, damaging its locking mechanism.
Guernsey Police are now investigating the incident and are asking anyone who saw what happened, or who has information that could assist enquiries, to come forward.
