A member of the public has reported being bitten by a dog as they walked along the north side footpath at Pembroke, above the beach.
The dog was being walked by a woman. It was one of two Whippet type dogs she was walking at the time. One of which was brown and one was grey.
Any witnesses or anyone with any information should contact PC Shields or PC Winberg on 222 222 or through Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Guernsey Police are also appealing for witnesses to a second alleged incident, which is said to have happened between 07:30 and 08:00 on Saturday 5 November.
This incident was said to have involved a man and a “distressed dog” at Pembroke, on the shoreline, directly in line with the Beach House Restaurant.
The dog is described as “large” and it is alleged that “the animal was in distress”.
Guernsey Police officers are keen to speak to anyone who was on the beach or in the area at the time.
Any motorists with dash cam footage taken in the area at the time may also be able to help and should contact the investigating officers.
