While the alleged burglar didn’t manage to get into the property, three doors and a window were damaged.
While not linking it directly with the attempted burglary, Guernsey Police have also asked the public for help identifying two people. One being a man who said his ex girlfriend lived in a nearby property in Torteval.
Guernsey Police said he is “scruffy, short, stocky” and was seen in the area of Rue De L’aitte last week, when he was telling residents that his ex-girlfriend, Sarah Blair, lived nearby.

PC Sharman, who is investigating, said he wants to talk with anyone who can identify the man, or Sarah Blair.
