Owners of guide dogs are exempt from the Control of Dogs law. Special arrangements can also be made for dogs registered under the UK registered assistance dogs scheme, particularly for dogs for the hard of hearing. Vehicles and horses are also restricted on beaches between 10:00 and 19:00 in the same period, except for fishing or boating purposes, unless an exemption is granted by ACLMS.
