Six people were caught doing that in just one day yesterday, with the force’s Roads Policing Sergeant now fronting a campaign to stop anyone doing it.
Sergeant Marshall said the specific operation will target mobile phone use while driving, because the law is clear: holding a mobile phone when driving is illegal.
