The article accurately quoted a statement by Jenny Palmer, the College’s Principal.
Mrs Palmer erroneously said that Dr Harnish had left the College’s employment in February 2016 due to misconduct.
At the request of the College, Express is pleased to clarify that Mrs Palmer was mistaken in her comment. The College confirms that last year a statement was sent to parents and staff, which said that the circumstances of Dr Harnish’s leaving were not due to any unlawful activity, safeguarding matter or unsatisfactory performance on his part.
The College would like to apologise to Dr Harnish for any harm or distress caused by their error.
