Police say a man sustained injuries after being assaulted during an altercation outside the pub between 01:50 and 02:00 on Sunday morning.
Officers said: “Many members of the public were in the immediate vicinity and may have felt threatened by the escalating level of violence that occurred.”
There was another reported assault in the same place late on Friday night.
