Their flight landed shortly before 10:00 in Guernsey – which was around 06:00 in Falkland.
They were greeted by a team official who had arrived in Guernsey yesterday, along with volunteers from the welcoming committee.
Today’s Team Falkland arrivals were taken to their hotel – La Trelade – before heading off on a tour of the island, to see where they will be competing in their individual sports, and to meet up with their Badminton team mates who arrived yesterday.
La Trelade said they were pleased to welcome the footballers, shooters and swimmers, to their hotel. Other Team Falklands members are staying at the Grange Lodge Hotel.

Team Falklands will first in be in action on Sunday morning in the Bowls from 09:00 at the Indoor Bowls Stadium at the Hougue du Pommier, and in the Badminton, from 09:30 at the Rohais Badminton Hall.
From 12:15 the Falkland Islands will be competing at the Table Tennis Centre, also at the Hougue du Pommier.
At 14:30 the Falkland’s men will kick off against the Isle of Man in the football at Blanche Pierre Lane.
Hosts Guernsey take on the Falkland Islands in the Men’s Basketball at 16:30 on Sunday at Beau Sejour.
