Aurigny is extending its Gatwick to Guernsey flight schedules with flights now available to book for travel until early next year.
The States-owned airline is also currently offering the chance for children to fly to free on the Paris route.
Aurigny has announced both initiatives this week, saying it wants to help customers.
The airline said it has prioritised the extension of its Gatwick programme into the winter months because customers have expressed an eagerness to book further in advance on the lifeline route.
This has been a key demand from those with long-haul travel plans via the London hub.
With bookings now open until early January, this also means that people can book for next Christmas and New Year already.
Sudeep Ghai, Chief Commercial Officer, said progress is also being made on the remainder of Aurigny’s programme, which should be out in the coming weeks.
“While the team are carefully crafting the wider programme to ensure the right balance of connectivity and schedule resilience this winter, we have looked to prioritise the release of flights for sale until 5 January for services to London Gatwick.
“We know that many of our customers have long-haul travel plans, which are committed to far in advance, and this should help facilitate those trips of a lifetime.”
Jennifer Newman, Airline Relations Manager for London Gatwick said booking early means customers can take advantage of offers with the other airlines serving the hub too.
“We are pleased Aurigny continues to provide this vital connecting service from Guernsey, not only to London but to the rest of the world via London Gatwick’s extensive choice of long-haul routes,” she said.

“Passengers can travel to China, India, Thailand, Mauritius, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Canada, USA, Mexico and the Caribbean. It doesn’t stop there, via the connection hubs of Singapore, Doha and Dubai (six daily flights in S25) onward connections to Australia, New Zealand and many more South Asia & Oceania destinations are also provided.”
Say “oui” to adventure this summer!
Aurigny is also offering significant savings on family trips to Paris this summer.
When flights are booked between 1 April – 8 April, children can fly fare-free on departures from June to September.
The offer is valid for up to two children, aged 11 and under, for each accompanying adult.
In 2024, a study by Action for Children revealed that 51% of UK parents were concerned they could not afford a summer holiday with their children due to the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Head of Marketing, PR and Comms at Aurigny, Sam Talbot, said this offer means families will only need to pay taxes on children’s flights to Europe’s cultural hub, making family holidays more accessible.
“In the last twelve months, we are pleased to confirm that we brought Paris and Guernsey closer for almost ten thousand travellers.
“This year, we’re excited to give even more the chance to experience this popular service. Family holidays give children memories that last a lifetime, and we believe everyone deserves to have one. Our ‘Kids Fly Free’ offer makes it easier for families to enjoy a well-deserved summer getaway this year.”
