Gower Financial Services recently held a free Financial Wellbeing session for IQ-EQ staff in Guernsey.
Led by Gower financial planners, the talk focused on practical guidance for building long-term financial confidence.
The session covered five core financial habits, setting achievable goals (short-, medium-, and long-term), and using financial forecasting to track progress. Gower says the aim was to empower attendees to take control of their financial futures.
The company says the initiative is part of Gower’s ongoing commitment to support financial literacy and wellbeing, offered to businesses across Guernsey and Alderney.
Paul McCormick, the Director & Senior Financial Adviser at Gower, said: “Financial wellbeing is about more than budgeting—it’s about gaining clarity and control over your future.
“Through practical steps and long-term thinking, we help people feel more confident in the choices they make today—and the ones they’ll need to make tomorrow.”
Whilst Anete Petit, HR Operations Advisor at IQ-EQ, praised the session’s impact, and added: “We’re always looking for ways to support our team’s wellbeing. This session offered simple, actionable advice with a long-lasting message. The feedback from our colleagues has been overwhelmingly positive.”
