Grow is inviting local professionals to move their meetings outdoors this May through its new ‘Grow Green Miles’ initiative.

Participants will pledge to walk one mile a day to support physical wellbeing and raise funds for the charity.

It costs an adult £15 to sign up, and it’s £5 per child. For a family of up to five it will cost £30 offer, and for a corporate team (up to ten people) it will cost £150.

Registrations are open through the Grow website.

Grow’s General Manager Mandy Mackelworth said: “Even a short walk can have a big impact on how we feel physically and mentally.

“We’re really looking forward to seeing the stories, photos, and creativity that participants share throughout the month.”

OSA Recruitment was the first company to sign up, with Sophie Gregson, Managing Director of OSA Recruitment, saying the initiative will allow the team to stay productive while enjoying the benefits of fresh air and movement.

“May is such a beautiful month, and this initiative gives us a great reason to get outside and enjoy it while still keeping on top of business agendas.

“Walking and talking brings a whole new dimension to meetings, it’s productive, uplifting, and good for everyone involved.”
