GUERNSEY ARTS SUNDAY: CELEBRATING 15 YEARS
Get ready for the 15th annual Arts Sunday, which will be returning this year on the 8th June!

Guernsey Arts invites the community to join in our public celebration of arts and culture, which will bring together visual art, music, dance, poetry, and much, much more. 2025’s theme celebrates an incredible 15 years of bringing the creative communities together.
Arts Sunday is hosted by Guernsey Arts and is supported this year by funding from the Tourism Management Board.
With over 100 stalls taking part in the day, the Arts Market between Crown and Albert Pier hosts a fantastic mix of stalls, workshops and demonstrations from established and up and coming artisans. It’s a great chance to buy something new, support local creatives or to have a chat about arts and crafts on the Island!
Fan of theatre and music? Be sure to keep an eye on the Guernsey Arts Performance stage as it brings together a wonderful mix of community groups and talented up-and-coming performers!
You can also watch a vibrant mix of dance groups from across the Island step into the spotlight on our captivating Guernsey Arts Dance stage.
As always, the busking stage will return to the Liberation Monument… Prepare to be wowed by our talented and varied lineup of performers!
You can also enjoy a series of performances, workshops and activities at the Guernsey Arts Hub, located just by the former Guernsey Information Centre.
We can’t wait to see you all there!

Gurriers – with Pillars & Hanging Pieces
We’re back at St James this Friday the 6th of June, as high-energy Irish guitar quintet, Gurriers, take to the stage!

With music starting at 8pm, Gurriers will be firing on all cylinders and confronting the ills of the modern world; performing their debut album, Come and See, a truly thrilling collection of razor-sharp progressive punk songs.
Taking their name from an antiquated and somewhat charming Irish term for lout, ruffian, or street urchin, Gurriers formed in January 2020, initially comprising Dan Hoff on lead vocals, Ben O’Neill on guitar and backing vocals, Mark MacCormack on guitar, Pierce O’Callaghan on drums and Emmet White on bass, who has since amicably left the band and been replaced by Charlie McCarthy.
Hailing from various parts of Ireland, Gurriers met in Dublin. They believed they were destined to connect creatively in a meaningful way, so they formed a band.
Reverberating guitars, epic melodies and vocals bursting with snotty self-confidence bind Gurriers’ songwriting into a mesmerising live tour de force.
The Global Collection is kindly sponsored by Bow Trustees and Guernsey Arts.
EXILE + RETURN
“Exile & Return”, an emotive exhibition produced by the Occupation Arts Collective is now on show within the Rectory and grounds of St Peter’s Church.
Congratulations to the artists involved – Guernsey Arts is proud to have supported the exhibition with grant funding.

This wonderful exhibition is open to the public until Thursday the 26th of June, on weekends from 10am – 4pm.
