Tiny Island Alphabet exhibition by Amanda Brun, published by Blue Ormer
Held at the fabulous ‘Art at the Park’ Gallery at the Folk and Costume Museum in Saumarez Park; ‘Tiny Island Alphabet’ showcases a series of highly patterned and whimsical illustrations by local artist, Amanda Brun.

Amanda Brun is a parent, teacher, artist, writer and musician, taking inspiration from the history and folklore of her home – the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
“The book began as a personal challenge during lockdown to create an image for each letter of the alphabet associated with Guernsey. I loved reading an alphabet book with my children when they were small, and they had really benefited from that in their early reading. I thought therefore it would be a wonderful way of engaging local children in discussions about local places and folklore, as well as familiarising them with the alphabet.”
The show runs from Friday 17 November until Wednesday 20 December, 10:00 – 16:30, Tuesday to Sunday.
Boasting free entry and an accessible venue, this is certainly not one to miss!
