Mobile phone footage of the fight was shared via WhatApp, social media and other channels throughout that night and over the following days.
At the time Guernsey Police asked that the video not be shared as some people may find the footage upsetting as it featured a “particularly violent incident”.

Following the incident, one man was taken to hospital with injuries which required treatment at the Emergency Department.
Three men were initially arrested – and a fourth was later arrested too. Four men aged 34, 35, 48 and 50 were later charged with violent disorder – all appeared in court before Christmas, where three were granted bail and one was remanded in custody.
Now Guernsey Police say they are continuing to look into the incident and any witnesses who have not yet spoken with officers are asked to come forward.
“Enquiries into the Harbour Lights disturbance which took place on 16 December are still ongoing.
“Investigating officers would still like to speak to any witnesses of the incident that have not yet spoken to police.
“If you have any information, or if you were a witness, you can call on 01481 222222 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
