Access & Learning Manager, Jo Dowding, said the first weekend of castle season “always has a celebratory feel”.
“Whether you like to explore the four Museums, enjoy the views or take part in the extra activities, we hope there will be something for everyone,” she said.
The living history shows will take place at 11:10, 12:10, 14:10 and 15:10 on Saturday and Sunday.
There will also be guided tours at 10:30 on both days along with storytelling from Guille-Allès Library staff.

The craft room will be open all weekend and there will be a special trail of castle character for “visitors young and young-at-heart” to meet.
There will also be a designated quiet space for the weekend at the South Battery where no events are planned.
The Castle is open daily during HistoryFest 10.00-17.00 (activities end at 16.00). Entry is free with a Discovery Pass, otherwise normal Castle admission applies.
The event is in partnership with the Guernsey Military History Company, the Guernsey History in Action Company and Guille-Allès Library.
