A separate inquest heard that at 17.35 on Monday 3 May, Mr Dodd lost control of his motorcycle while going around a bend and collided with the front of a bus.
The States Pathologist, Dr Catherine Chinyama, said the cause of death was severe head injuries and that the 18-year-old died immediately.
Investigations continue into both incidents, but Guernsey Police have now released the bodies for burial or cremation.
