Islands Unlimited has announced its full inter-island passenger ferry services for next year after a bumper first four months in business.
Bookings are now live for travel on the San Pawl between Guernsey and Jersey from March to October 2026.
Its final month of this year’s inaugural season starts tomorrow and it has already carried more than 25,000 passengers since it started in June.
Operations will be paused over the winter months, with only Brittany Ferries providing inter-island ferry travel over that period with weekly sailings on Wednesdays.
Jersey’s ferry operator DFDS has so far been silent on what level of inter-island services it will provide this winter and next year, despite repeated requests for comment by Express.
Captain Chad Murray, CEO of Islands Unlimited, promised improvements to the service next March including a premium lounge on board and a dedicated customer area at the harbours.
“Reaching over 25,000 passengers this season shows how valued this service has become. As we explore opportunities to offer new routes, our focus remains firmly on delivering reliability and quality on our core Guernsey–Jersey route,” he said.
“As well as serving our regular travellers, Islands Unlimited is playing a growing role in supporting the wider Channel Islands economy.

“Reliable ferry links are vital for tourism, business, and community connections, and we’re proud to be part of that story. Looking ahead to 2026, we’ll continue to strengthen our core route while exploring opportunities that enhance choice and connectivity for islanders and visitors alike.”
Captain Murray said a range of special offers will be on offer for early bookings.
Deputy Sasha Kazantseva-Miller, President of Economic Development, told the States last week that it remained committed to inter-island services and suggested subsidies could continue to firms which supported that.
Economic Development agreed to £150,000 of support for Islands Unlimited ahead of its launch last year.
