Both items have been lodged for future States Meetings online.

It’s also understood that the motion of no confidence will be debated on 22 November. It comes after Deputy Charles Parkinson put the motion to P&R more than five days ago and the Committee chose not to resign. 

The States are now asked: “To decide, in accordance with Rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure, that the States of Deliberation require the immediate resignation of the President and Members of the Policy & Resources Committee, they having no confidence in the said Committee.”

Meanwhile, Deputy Queripel has resigned from SACC and the Committee will now need to elect a new member.
