A passion for music brought The Simians together, with Ian Harrison and Simon Streek founding the band back in 2015.
They’ve since released a Christmas song every year and have now compiled them into an album you can listen to on Spotify, iTunes and Apple Music.
Ian popped into the Express studio to talk about the band, the music and why they like to sing about Christmas:
“We were just talking and thought it’s a pity nobody does real Christmas songs anymore,” said Ian.
“So, we sat down and said, ‘let’s do one for fun…let’s write a Christmas song like [they did in the 80s]’.
“We love doing it… We really enjoy[making the videos] and they make people laugh... So, we did one the next year, and took it from there.”
