The assault is reported to have occurred between 19:30 to 21:00 on Saturday 4 September on the Pollet side of the Thomas De La Rue pub.
This incident involved three women and one man, which police say resulted in the man being assaulted a number of times and receiving minor injuries.
The women were also shouting offensive words towards the man and other members of the public.
