A man appeared in Remand Court yesterday morning on suspicion of committing the offence.
Defence Advocate Chris Green appealed for the suspect to be released on conditional bail. That application was dismissed by Judge Gary Perry, who sided with the Crown Prosecutor Chris Dunford’s call to remand him in custody.
The burglary was discovered at around 07:30 on Monday morning. A man is reported to have entered the pharmacy through a perspex roof at the rear of the building, before forcing access to a safe in the storeroom and stealing some of its contents, along with other medication.
