He is set to appear in court this morning [7 June].

Enquiries are ongoing, and Guernsey Police are continuing to appeal for more witnesses to come forward.

The initial report, which led to the man’s arrest, was made by a member of the public who reported an incident near the Mylk kiosk in Market Square.

The Police have since identified a key witness who was seen walking her dogs in the area at the time but would still like more witnesses to come forward.
