Two separate burglaries are under investigation after weekend break-ins at a garage and a pharmacy.

Guernsey Police have confirmed two men have been arrested in connection with the first burglary that took place at L’Aumone Pharmacy, while enquiries continue in relation to a separate incident that took place at Cobo Service Station around two hours later.

“Guernsey Police is currently investigating two separate burglaries which occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning (8 February),” confirmed a police spokesperson on Monday afternoon.

“Two men have been arrested in relation to the first burglary, which occurred at approximately 01:00 at L’Aumone pharmacy. A number of prescription medications are believed to have been stolen.

“The second incident happened at around 03:30, where someone is believed to have entered Cobo Garage and taken vapes and cigarettes.

“Enquiries into both of these matters are ongoing, and anyone with any information is asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Department by calling 01481 222 222.

Cobo Service Station was open as normal on Monday morning after the break in on Sunday morning.

The manager confirmed to Express that no one was injured during the incident.

The garage had to stay closed on Sunday while police officers carried out their investigation, he said. He added that he was expecting an update from the police soon.
