George Cooper has arrived in Guernsey, joining the MSG as a new Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon.
Dr Cooper completed his training at the Avon Orthopaedic Centre in the West Midlands and received the Royal College of Surgeons certification in 2016.
He can undertake a wide variety of procedures to help restore joint movement to his patients.
“We’re really pleased to have recruited such a high calibre surgeon to such a busy service,” said the MSG Chairman, Dr Gary Yarwood.
“It’s really important that we have a good team in Orthopaedics with the range of subspeciality interests needed for our ageing demographic; Dr Cooper’s recruitment will help to maintain a very strong department.”
