A festive winter tradition is returning to Lihou Island this weekend.
The annual mulled wine event is taking place on 4 January.
Running from 11.30am to 2.30pm, the family-friendly event will feature live music, a treasure hunt around the island, and plenty of seasonal treats, including mulled wine, mince pies, hot dogs and crisps.
Steve Sarre, Warden of Lihou House for The Lihou Charity LBG, said the charity was looking forward to welcoming islanders over for a relaxed and festive afternoon following the Christmas break.
The event is open to families and visitors, weather and tides permitting, and offers a chance to enjoy the island in its winter setting while supporting the charity’s work.
