As part of this work the GDA launched a public consultation, to pull ideas from the public and identify what should be prioritised going forward.
The results of that consultation have now been published. 1,120 people responded – with roughly 90% of those respondents being over 35 – and the following infographics have been curated after 3,650 individual comments were poured through:

The Director of the GDA, Louis Le Poidevin, said they went in with no expectations “and there were a few reasonably surprising results”.
“One surprise was a want to pedestrianise parts of the Bridge – we asked if that would be something people would be interested in, and we got quite a high number of people saying yes,” he said.
“There are some individual suggestions in the stats provided; park and play, and a multi storey carpark being two examples.”
Tibbalds is creating the Local Planning Brief and will use the consultation results to inform their proposals. The developer has also launched its own online consultation, with in person sessions available.
“Hopefully Tibbalds will get a good level of engagement, because that sets the policy,” said Mr Le Poidevin.
“The next stage – over the next 6-12 months – is to look at the business case for the suggestions.”
