The Nature Commission is looking for a volunteer Fundraising Officer to help it secure sustainable income for environmental initiatives.

The charity says the successful candidate will be responsible for developing a fundraising strategy, managing donor relationships, and liaising with local businesses for sponsorship.

Jessi Jennings, the CEO of the Nature Commission, says securing funding is a significant challenge in the third sector but remains vital for turning environmental ideas into physical impact.

“We’re delighted to be launching this opportunity to bring a volunteer Fundraising Officer into the Nature Commission. Securing funding is a challenge in the third sector but is vital to turning great environmental ideas into real, on-the-ground impact.

“This role will play a key part in making that happen. It’s a fantastic chance for someone to contribute their skills, build valuable experience, and help drive meaningful change for nature across Guernsey.”
