The rapid charging station will be installed outside the Guernsey Electricity Retail Showroom on Northside.

Pictured: The new rapid charging point will use 24kW of power, as opposed to the 7kW currently found at public stations at North Beach car park and the Odeon car park.
A spokesperson from Guernsey Electricity told Express: “Guernsey Electricity is aiming for the point to be delivered and in use by the end of 2021.”
The charging units are accessible 24/7 and are operated by a pay as you go system via the PlugnGo app or card, and operational information is available on site.
