The Airport’s Twitter account notified people that they had to order parts for their machines before they could get them back online.

It was announced yesterday that the machines were broken, meaning everyone has to put their hold luggage through the oversized baggage scanner – a much slower process.

A spokesperson for the Airport said it could now be a few more days before things were back to normal. That is because the needed parts are ‘on order’.

So, until then, passengers might find themselves having to queue to get their luggage checked in, before having to queue to go through the new security set up.
