It’s important to note that all data relating to completed groups and cohorts refers to the first dose of the vaccine only.
“Everyone [in priority groups 1, 2a, 3 and 4a] have had a first dose,” said Dr Brink, “many have had their second dose.”
3,090 people have now received their second dose and more than 13,000 people have received their first dose.
We’re being asked to be patient, as staff at Public Health start booking in vaccinations in groups of 500.
“We start at 69 [year-old] and move downwards,” said Dr Brink.
Pictured: A fifth of the Guernsey population has now had at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Dr Brink said Guernsey is on track to have vaccinated everyone in Phase 1 by the time May comes.
“By the end of April we’re hoping to have given everyone [in groups 1-9] who wants their vaccine, a vaccination,” she said.
