The highest bidder originally chose to remain anonymous, but the plans have now been published online, with Mr and Mrs Le Lievre applying to knock down ‘Leafy Cove’ and build something new.
The cottage has been left derelict for many years and it was always understood that the building itself would probably need to be demolished for a new development.

JG Architects said the most “cost-effective” and “energy efficient” solution would be to demolish the existing building and start again.
The application includes reference to the fact that Leafy Cove and its surroundings sit within a Conservation Area. The plan, if approved, would see the domestic curtilage extended into a garden.
Representations to the planning application can be made to The Planning Service, and will need to be done by the 8 August.
