Elective placements allow students to see how their learning can be applied to real world situations.
25 students are being accommodated by the MSG for seven-week slots and eight have been place over Easter.

“The team at the MSG have been very accommodating and it was very easy to organise. I recommend a Guernsey elective to anyone who asks,” said Josh Datta, who is also from Guernsey.
“I had been on placement in the PEH before for work experience, but it was interesting coming back after completing my studies in the UK with the knowledge that I have now.”
Mr Datta was joined by Karan Gour, who comes from Birmingham: “I have had a brilliant time on my elective in surgery,” he said.
The MSG is welcoming of any student who is interested in a placement. For more information you can contact info@msg.gg.
