The States-owned utility has now got permission for another by the St Saviour’s Reservoir, which is encircled by the Millennium Walk.

It’s hoped the installation of the refill station will reduce the amount of plastic waste left in the area, as it promotes the use of re-useable bottles.
The site has been chosen due to the high number of walkers passing through.
“We fully support the promotion of staying hydrated, together with any reduction in single use plastic bottles, by making water freely available to islanders and visitors alike when out and about,” said Margaret McGuinness from Guernsey Water.
