Royal Navy frigate visits Bailiwick waters for training

The Type 23 frigate is usually based in Portsmouth and has a range of 7,500 nautical miles. It’s currently in active service and crew have to continually undertake training.

The Guernsey Coastguard said the training exercises will be undertaken in “support of her ongoing mission to enhance UK maritime security at home and abroad”.

The frigate will remain in Bailiwick waters for a few more days and if it weren’t for Covid restrictions the crew would’ve come ashore.
