The 2016 election was uncontested, while an election due to be held earlier this year was postponed because no one stood.
Today though, there are 15 candidates for nine seats in Chief Pleas.

Turnout in Sark elections has always been high since the feudal system was replaced in 2008, with expectations that will be repeated today.
Of a population of around 500, most will be eligible to vote at the Island Hall today between 10:00 and 18:00.
The Speaker of Chief Pleas, Arthur Rolfe, said the results are expected to be known by late this evening.
