Those three men – Ali Abbas Ahmad, Aal E Ahmad Hussain, and Omar Sharif – were held in custody at Les Nicolles Prison over the weekend. Each of them resides in Slough, United Kingdom.

The case will be committed to Guernsey’s Royal Court on Wednesday 14 December after they were bailed on the morning of Monday 26 September.

Judge Gary Perry ordered that media reporting of the case be postponed other than basic details following a request from the prosecution and defence advocates.

We can report the conditions the three men must abide by whilst on bail.

They must all continue to reside at their stated Slough addresses, and report to Slough Police Station individually every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. A curfew between 23:00 and 06:00 was imposed.

They were told to surrender their passports to Guernsey Police, and they are not allowed to enter either the Bailiwicks of Guernsey or Jersey other than for legal reasons. They may enter Guernsey 24-hours in advance of scheduled court appearances.

The men have also been instructed not to contact two witnesses and were required to pay two separate securities per defendant, amounting to tens-of-thousands of pounds, before their release from custody.
