Aurigny is dreaming of a white Christmas this year, offering its biggest ever programme of flights to the Alps.

Every Saturday from 19 December to 6 February there will be a flight to Grenoble giving islanders’ an easy lift to the slopes.

Philip Saunders, Chief Commercial Officer at Aurigny, said: “As the Islanders’ airline, we know that island life doesn’t stop in the winter.

“That’s why we’re delighted to reconnect Guernsey and Jersey with the French Alps – giving islanders the freedom to get away, explore and make more of the world beyond our shores.”

Flights start in Guernsey, stop in Jersey – with no requirement to disembark – before heading to the snow-capped mountains of France.

Tickets start at £99.99 one way, and can be bought on the Aurigny website or app.
