Social distancing measures had been completely dropped in the Bailiwick, but are now being reintroduced for travellers in line with Public Health guidance.

All inbound passengers will have to stay two metres apart, while those entering Guernsey by car will be asked to stay in their vehicles and await further instructions.

Passengers arriving and departing through Guernsey’s ports are being encouraged to follow Public Health advice, including the wearing of face masks where required and practicing good personal hygiene.

Anyone travelling to Alderney will also be asked to observe social distancing requirements whilst in the terminal and have pick-up arrangements confirmed in advance before they arrive.
