Alex Snowdon and Bill Abel both received a caution after complaints were lodged against them.

The complaint made about Mr Abel alleged that he had behaved in an inappropriate manner during a meeting of the General Services Committee. He did not deny that he had lost his temper and apologised for the incident.

The second complaint was regarding Mr Snowdon, who was alleged to have behaved in an inappropriate manner after visiting the complainant’s home.

Mr Snowdon also accepted a caution.

I would like to thank the Code of Conduct panel who found it to be a minor breach,” said Mr Snowdon.

I also appreciate the involvement of Guernsey Police who found the incident to be politically motivated.

I am glad that this has now been concluded.
