The driver of the car he hit, saw Wakeford and his bike skidding towards their car just after 23:00 on 21 November last year.
After the bike and car collided, the Court heard that Wakeford ran away from the scene of the accident, but left a smashed Jack Daniels bottle, his phone, and his Suzuki Bandit there.

Wakeford was given a £1,000 fine and disqualified for six weeks.
Next was Iluta Blitsone, 50, who was pulled over by police outside the Carlton Hotel on 12 May.
The white van she’d been driving was seen by officers to be swerving into the middle of the road. She blew a 56 mcg reading – over the 35mcg per 100ml limit.
Blitsone was disqualified from driving for two years and given a £600 fine.
The last drink driver was the most serious, having blown a reading of 123mcg, which is more than three times the legal limit and passes the custody threshold for drink driving offences.
Vitalijs Rikovs, 49, pleaded guilty to the charge of being over the limit while driving on Elm Grove last Friday, 4 June.
His high reading meant a probation report was called for and his case was adjourned to 1 July for sentencing.
