“It began with an optimistic idea,” said Organiser Adam Stephens. “Guernsey needed some art and Spring is about new life and a new day.”

The Gate House Gallery is at Elizabeth College and has held numerous art installations over the years.

The event is running over the next two weeks, with the gallery open over the weekends until 15 May.

It’s free to attend and a percentage of the sales will be going to mental health charity Guernsey Mind.

“I know a lot of people suffered through lockdown, so I thought it was good to mark this by donating some of the money raised to MIND,” said Mr Stephens.
