The video brings together therapists, schools and nurseries, Deputies and workers from other States services to show solidarity with children and adults with communication difficulties.
The team behind the video said the project was motivated by the desire to raise awareness of communication needs in the island.
“Our job as speech and language therapists is to promote inclusive communication for the children and adults we support to break down barriers to communication to help them reach their full potential,” one of the therapists said. “With one in three children starting school with developmental language disorder and/or speech and communication difficulties, we wanted to raise awareness around these issues by creating this video.”
