The Sporting Achievement Awards were presented at Beau Sejour on Thursday night, with Sarnian superstar Andy Priaulx there to hand them out.
He also spoke about his career in a joint interview with his son, Sebastian Priaulx.

The award winners were:
- Guernsey Sports Commission Trophy | The outstanding performer of the year – Sam Culverwell, cycling.
- Richard Burton Salver | Outstanding individual sporting achievement of the year by a sportsman resident in Guernsey – Josh Lewis, Triathlon.
- Guernsey Brewery Salver | Outstanding individual sporting achievement of the year by a sportswoman resident in Guernsey – Maya Le Tissier, football.
- Sir John Loveridge Trophy | Sportsperson making the greatest progress in the year – Megan Chapple, Triathlon.
- Guernsey Sports Commission Small Team Trophy | 4 competitors and under – Guernsey Mixed Fours Bowls.
- Guernsey Sports Commission Team Trophy | Over 4 competitors – Guernsey Island Games Table Tennis Team.
- Lambourne Shield | Outstanding individual sporting achievement by a boy or girl aged 11 – 18 – Alex Scott, Football.
- Beau Sejour Trophy | Outstanding team performance by a team solely Guernsey residents aged less than 18 – St Martin’s AC U16s, Football.
- Dave Dorey Memorial Trophy | Awarded to the sport or the individual from that who has been involved volunteering in coaching and / or development and made an outstanding contribution to that sport – Patrick Ogier, Basketball.
- Sport Guernsey and Nautical Guernsey Shield | Awarded to the year’s outstanding event organiser – ICC Men’s Cricket T20 World Cup Europe Final.
