Young Voices is an annual national choir event which has hosted more than two million children over the last twenty years.
Megan, age 11, is among those taking part tonight, representing her school and Guernsey. She was very excited before flying to London to take part:
“We’ve been working really hard to learn all of our songs and practicing at lunchtime at school and at home. There’re going to be so many other people there singing too and it’s really exciting to be involved!”

The group from St Mary and St Michael primary school have been practicing with their teacher Miss Hockey who will accompany them on their trip to London, along with parents and grandparents who will be among the thousands of people watching the concert live.
Their Headteacher Helen Shepherd said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for our children to sing as part of a national children’s choir – there will be up to 6000 children singing together at our performance alone!”
